Shophouse and Baskets for Sale

Goods for sale at a traditional shophouse in the Kampong Gelan area of Singapore. The goods flow out onto the street and are shaded from the sun and rain by an awning and also by the design of shop house. Due to the cost of owning a car in Singapore the side streets are not too busy. Many people travel on the underground system or public buses or take a taxi.
